The Burlington Country Club's pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the summer in the sun.
Our beautiful pool is large enough for swimmers of all ages and includes a designated shallow area for beginning swimmers as well as a separate area for small children to splash and play. In addition, our pool offers a generous diving area for those wishing to improve their technique. The pool is conveniently located just across the parking lot from our main Clubhouse and is open to all Burlington Country Club members as well as their spouses and children.
In order to utilize the Burlington Country Club pool you must be a Burlington Country Club member. However, we do offer Social Memberships, which give you full access to the swimming pool, private swim lessons, poolside services, private member social events, and our Grill Room restaurant, without the added expense of golf course access.

2017 BCC BARRACUDAS SWIM TEAM
Each summer, children come together to create an experience of recreation, fitness, and entertainment that helps to weave the fabric of community. For the children who participate in summer swim leagues, valuable, even lifesaving skills are acquired. For their parents, it's an opportunity to get to know neighbors within our immediate community.
The BCC Swim Team operates under the following principles:
- To provide an environment that develops a love for swimming and fitness in each participant.
- To offer a positive competitive experience for both swimmer and parent.
- To provide coaching that allows new, as well as accomplished athletes, to improve their strokes and times throughout the season.
- To develop principles of teamwork, team spirit, and sportsmanship throughout all age groups on the team.
Practices are held each morning, Monday through Friday (practice times are subject to swimmer ability level). Meets are usually held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All swimmers also have the option of competing in League Championships at the end of July and for qualifying swimmers, the State Championship is held in the beginning of August.
Level II: Ages 11+
7:45 AM – 9:30 AM
Level I: Ages 10 & Under
9:30AM – 10:45 AM
Stroke School: Ages 5+
11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
While we enjoy success in our league, we always make sure that fun and sportsmanship are the first priority. Each Friday is Team Building Day where the team partakes in activities and games before a bagel brunch.
Unlike many youth sports leagues and teams, our success and the efficiency with which we can complete our meets and championships depends on a team of parent volunteers from both the home as well as the visiting teams. Whether this is your first year or you are returning to us, please don't hesitate to get your feet wet on deck this season.
If you are interested in officiating Vermont Summer Swim League meets, USA Swimming meets or who would like to learn about USA Swimming rules and regulations, check out this link. Officiating is a way to help support your children’s activity. Officiating is voluntary and offers the best seat in the house.
